One minute from Kinomoto-station, there is a retro restaurant. Fukudaya.
We had lunch here today to recover from the cold…because of the extreme heat these days, I was suffering from a cold in my nose.My body wanted something gentle.
This nostalgic restaurant has been loved by the local residents in Kinomoto for over 80 years. So once I entered, I felt nostalgic comfortness. They welcomed us warmly.
The restaurant offers mainly noodles such as udon, soba, ramen and rice bowls. Especially Its famous for Nabeyaki Udon noodle which I orderd today. Nabeyaki refers to simmering in a pot, so this udon gets you warm more than the normal one.
Soup was such a great treat; it includes a rich taste of ground chicken, eggs, and vegetables. My body was filled up with a gentle flavor. My husband ordered the same but with ramen noodles. He drunk up all the soup. Since my friend recommended a special fried soba to me, next time I will try it.
