Have you ever tried Hot Spring Spa in Japan? As you know, Japan is a land full of natural hot springs; there is no prefecture where they don’t own them. For generations, Japanese people have sought healing and relaxation in hot springs, so there may be a genetic predisposition to feel the urge to bathe in them. It’s a highlight when we stay at a ryokan, Japanese traditional accommodation.
Even in daily life, many Japanese go to casual hot spa facilities to get refreshed bodies. I remember I missed the thermal bath so much when I was in Mexico. I finally visited a hot spa with Japanese friends even though it was so far away.
Therefore, now I am so lucky to be at Kita-omi Resort a 13 minutes walk away from our guesthouse.
