Taiwanese restaurant has opened just a 5-minute ride by bike from the guesthouse. It’s what you would typically call Chinese cuisine, but here in Shiga Prefecture, it’s commonly advertised as Taiwanese cuisine. It’s on the side road Number 8. They offer a wide variety of dishes, including lunch sets with options like Rice bowls, Ramen, and fried rice. Each dish is accompanied by a photo, making it easy to choose.
The restaurant is spacious with mat seating and regular table seating available.
I had the set with Stir-fried Pork with Bell Peppers and Gyoza, while my husband had the Sichuan-style Chicken Stir-fry set.
As you can see from the photos, the portions are generous, so we were quite full. My husband even got a second helping of rice.
They also have a wide selection of alcohol, and it seems they offer takeout options and bento boxes. It’s great that they stay open until 11 PM, as there are few places around here open that late.
It was good. With the weather being so hot these days, I’d like to try Korean cold noodles next time.
